1.0 Premiaflex Plastics Ltd strongly believes that the achievement of organizational success and sustainability must be accompanied by a resolute commitment towards the environment, health and safety to all of its employees, suppliers and customers.
2.0 Premiaflex Plastics Ltd commits itself to the following Environmental, Occupational, Health and Safety Policy:
- Ensure a health and safe work environment to employees and provide resources for awareness, preliminary risk evaluation, training and monitoring of health and accident risks.
- Ensure consistency of Premiaflex Plastics Ltd environment, health and safety procedures with international and national legislative requirements and introduce necessary additional requirements to make certain of a safe and healthy workplace and environment.
- Incorporate environmental, Occupational health and safety consideration in the planning stage of product and process design.
- Continually strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in property damage, accidents or personal injury / illness.
- Minimize environmental aspects by decreasing wastes, using optimum energy, using non-hazardous chemicals instead of hazardous chemicals.
- Produce eco-friendly products that can be recycled and reused.
- Seek continuous improvement in the design and implementation of products and processes, to eliminate or minimize probable health hazards, accident risks and minimize environmental aspects by using new technologies.
- Be prepared for emergencies and act promptly to eliminate their resulting impacts.
- Effective communicate the environmental, Occupational health and safety Policy to the relevant stakeholders of the company to encourage adoption of appropriate preventive practices.
In Order to ensure that this policy remains relevant and updated to the corporate objectives of Premiaflex Plastics Ltd periodic reviews are undertaken.
Premiaflex Plastics Ltd recognizes that the responsibility for environment, health and safety is shared by all employees. To ensure active employee involvement the Environmental, Occupational health and safety Policy would be successfully conveyed to every employee.
The proper implementation of the Environmental Occupational Health and Safety Policy would be supervised by the management representative, along with the assistance of the Deputy Management Representative.
3.0 Responsibility
This is to certify that Mr. S.M Saiful Islam (SafetyOfficer) has been nominated as Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) coordinator of Premiaflex Plastics Ltd. for implementing and maintaining the Environmental, Health & Safety requirements as per the SEDEX System within the organization.
He is authorized to sign the necessary documents and take the actions required to full-fill the requirements for Environment preservation and ensure Healthy and Safe working environment.
